- 1 pound flank steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef and stir-fry until browned.
- Remove the beef and add the remaining oil.
- Stir-fry the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add the beef back in, pour the sauce over it, and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with green onions and serve.
