Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Roll the dough into balls, then coat with cinnamon sugar.
  7. Place the rolled dough on a baking sheet, spaced apart.
