- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro for garnish
- Marinate the chicken in yogurt, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, and chili powder for at least 1 hour.
- Cook the marinated chicken in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the tomato puree, cooking for 5-7 minutes.
- Add the cream, sugar, and salt, then return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with rice or naan.
