  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large cream cheese blocks, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups sliced apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, blend cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time until well combined.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust, then layer sliced apples on top, sprinkling cinnamon.
  5. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in butter to get a crumbly mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the streusel topping over the apples.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until set.
  9. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped nuts to the streusel topping.
  • Allow the bars to chill in the fridge for a couple of hours for better texture.
