Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add chickpeas and stir, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
