  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the cranberries and orange zest.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and egg.
  6. Add the cream mixture to the dry ingredients and combine until just moistened.
  7. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times.
  8. Form into a circle about 1 inch thick and cut into wedges.
  9. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes.
