Creamy Salmon Pasta

A delicious and comforting creamy salmon pasta dish, enhanced with the savory flavor of turkey bacon.

  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup spinach, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Add salmon fillet to the skillet and cook for about 4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove from skillet and flake into pieces.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and spinach, sautéing until spinach is wilted.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then stir in flaked salmon and parmesan cheese.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute the turkey bacon with regular bacon if preferred.
  • You can add more vegetables like mushrooms or peas for extra nutrition.
