  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 4 ounces chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, turkey bacon, chicken ham, breadcrumbs, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat. Add the baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Slice the sub rolls and place meatballs inside. Top with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Return the subs to the oven for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

  • For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like basil or parsley.
