- 2 cups onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Gruyère or Swiss)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add sliced onions and salt; cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into circles to fit your tartlet pan.
