These Halloween Crinkle Cookies are the perfect sweet treat to celebrate the spooky season. They are easy to make and delightfully delicious!

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
  5. Chill the cookie dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Once chilled, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions, roll them into balls, and then roll each ball in powdered sugar.
  7. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra Halloween fun, you can add orange and black sprinkles on top of the cookies before baking.
  • Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature.
