  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Mix in the melted butter.
  4. Stir in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla and mix well.
  6. Mix in the flour until just incorporated, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before slicing.
