  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Roll out the dough and spread maple syrup and chopped pecans.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and allow to rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Invert the baking dish to let the sticky buns release from the pan.
