- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
