Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

A delicious and hearty pasta dish inspired by the classic Philly cheesesteak, made with turkey bacon for a lighter twist.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cooked roast beef, shredded
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. Add onions and green bell peppers to the skillet; sauté until soft.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Add shredded roast beef and beef broth; bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in cooked pasta and chopped turkey bacon; mix well.
  7. Sprinkle with provolone cheese; cover and let melt.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some Italian seasoning.
