  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, oil, and eggs.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Pour half of the bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter and top with the remaining batter.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
