Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Fill each muffin cup with a scoop of batter, then add a dollop of the cream cheese mixture. Swirl with a toothpick.
