1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound Italian sausage
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 eggs
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and milk. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
Spread marinara sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding diced bell peppers or olives.
Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
