Tomato Tartlets with Puff Pastry

A delightful appetizer featuring delicious tomato tartlets made with flaky puff pastry.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rounds.
  3. Place the pastry rounds on a baking sheet.
  4. In a bowl, mix the tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spoon the tomato mixture onto each pastry round.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of balsamic glaze before serving.
