Traditional Eggnog Cheesecake

A creamy and rich traditional eggnog cheesecake, perfect for the holiday season.

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; mix well.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add sugar and mix until well combined.
  6. Pour in eggnog, then add eggs, vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon; mix until smooth.
  7. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes until set.
  9. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  10. Serve chilled, garnished with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
